Ramjet 2013 is the one that started it all!
Using all English ingredients in recognition of the style's origin, Ramjet is brewed as traditional Imperial Stout before going into barrel. The 2013 Vintage spent three months in ex-whisky barrels from New World Distillery and was the first release of our now infamous and much loved whisky barrel-aged imperial stout. Loads of soft oak, vanilla and burnt caramel on the nose, backed up by a full, creamy palate of black forest, vanilla and toasty oak and finishes with the subtlest warming hint of its 10.2% ABV.
