Can you put too much mango in a beer? An important question in 2020 craft beer circles...
It turns out that yes, yes you can. Last year when we first attempted to brew Dum Dum things did not go to plan. The beer was not up to scratch and had to be heartbreakingly dumped while the brewers went back to the drawing board. This time around, the brewers are back with a vengeance and have damn well nailed it this time! A whole heap of Kensington’s finest Mango (Total of 150kg working out at 110g of mango per litre of beer!!!) in a delightful Hazy IPA. Hopped heavily with Sabro, Amarillo and Azacca hops at 15g per litre.
The aroma of this beer screams of mango sweetness, but the bitterness from the hops brings it back to a beautiful balance of juice and IPA on the palate. Kensington’s finest juice in with Braeside’s finest haze.
