Ramjet 2020
Our 2020 vintage of Ramjet is a mix of barrels from the always incredible Starward whisky, some American oak, some French. The result? Layers of complexity, with perhaps a touch more vanilla on the palate (not quite as much as Roger Ramjet though), with the red wine notes that were previously in the Starward barrels making its presence known. The whisky is prominent as usual, giving way to the rich malts, complex oak character and light fruit and roast malt finish.
Stored upright in a cool, dark place, Ramjet 2020 will reward careful cellaring of at least 5 years. Over time, the whisky will become less prominent and the barrel type more pronounced–the end result being just sublime.
