Limoncello 3195

THE LIMOCELLO 3195 PROJECT IS BACK!

Is your lemon tree bursting with fruit? Fancy swapping lemons for a bottle of Limoncello?

If you live in the postcode of 3195, you can get involved!

In case you missed the boat for our previous harvests, the short story is:

The Boatrocker Crew found inspiration in this classic Italian liqueur, particularly the uniquely delicious homemade versions that are given as family gifts up and down the country's sunny coastline. So, we set out to capture the culture of this tradition and make a Limoncello - for locals, by locals - using all homegrown lemons plucked from the trees of our fellow 3195 legends.

You know what they say, “when life gives you lemons… make Limoncello!”

There will be 2 WEEKENDS when you can drop off your lemons. This first one has been planned earlier in the season because we've had feedback some trees already have ripe lemons.

IF YOUR LEMONS AREN'T RIPE, PLEASE DON'T BRING THEM IN YET. There will be a second opportunity to contribute your harvest in October, and you'll still receive your well-earned bottle/s of Limoncello 3195.

We do have a few rules! To make Limoncello we will be using the skin, so lemons need to be in good condition and we can only accept LISBON, EUREKA or SORRENTO Lemons.

WE CANNOT ACCEPT MEYER LEMONS, the lemon peel is not suitable. Please do not bring them in. If you are unsure if your tree is a Meyer Lemon Tree please check before picking.

📣 📣 📣 📣 PLEASE READ THE GUIDE AT THE END TO MAKE SURE YOU ARE AWARE OF THE LEMONS WE WILL BE ACCEPTING.

🍋 THE DETAILS

On the weekend of Aug 9-11 or Oct 11-13, bring us 5kgs (or more) of your freshly picked lemons (which is approx. 25 large lemons - note: we will be weighing not counting).

In return for every 5kg of your lemons (that meet the guide above), you will receive a 500ml bottle of Boatrocker 3195 Limoncello when it is ready.

Then, at the end of the harvest season, you'll all be invited to celebrate and enjoy the literal fruits of your labour at our Limoncello Harvest Party.
