Yes, our bar is situated inside the Barrel Room with ample seating available.

In the cooler months, the Barrel Room is heated, and in summer we have evaporative cooling.

Inside you’ll see the walls lined with all our latest barrel aged beers & spirits as well as our fully operational still for distilling gin & other spirits.

Yes, Boatrocker has a large outdoor Beer Garden out the front of the venue next to where we have a visiting food truck each weekend.

Plenty of seating is available in both fully covered or partially covered areas, and our outdoor awning is fully retractable for when guests want to enjoy the sun.

Outdoor heaters are available as well for cooler evenings and winter months.

We sure are!

We want the Boatrocker Barrel Room to be somewhere parents can feel comfortable bringing their kids when they’re keen to get out.

However, we do not have a dedicated kids' play area, and we request that parents supervise their children at all times and are mindful of the experience of our other patrons.

We also require shoes (for both children and adults) at all times when visiting. During the working week the venue is a fully operational brewery & distillery with industrial equipment on site, and on the weekends becomes a bar which carries with it the possibility of broken glass etc.

Absolutely!

We welcome all well-behaved dogs to the venue – but you may have to endure our staff doting over your pup and hoping to give plenty of pats.

Dogs are allowed in both the outdoor and indoor areas of the venue, but we do request that if your dog makes any mess in the Barrel Room or the Beer Garden, that you will dispose of any waste.

We have water bowls available for our four legged friends to have a drink as well.

We may need to ask you to remove your dog if they are causing a disturbance to any other patrons or dogs.

The Boatrocker Crew works with a great group of local food trucks, and we aim to get a different truck in each weekend so you can try our beers and spirits alongside plenty of different types of cuisine.

To find out what food truck we have booked in for your upcoming visit, have a look at our calendar.

On Thursdays, or if the universe throws a spanner and our food truck has to cancel, we fire up the good ol' Boatrocker pizza oven and offer a menu of tasty and very beer-friendly thin crust pizzas (Vegetarian & Gluten Free options available).

Yep!

We showcase heaps of talented local musicians in the Barrel Room, and Live Music Sunday Sessions are on every Sunday from 2PM-4PM (every once in a while times may vary to accommodate special events).

To see who will be playing over the coming weeks, have a look at our calendar.

If you're a musician or band interested in playing at the venue, please get in touch with our Venue Manager: dave@boatrocker.com.au.

We are a TV free venue, however we are more than happy for you to bring your own tablet/phone to watch sports live. We can provide you with a Wi-Fi password, simply ask at the bar.

Sure thing!

Whether it's a birthday, business function, or beyond, we are very happy to host large group bookings in a semi-private format during our normal opening hours.

We do not offer full venue hire or private function bookings during our normal opening hours, but this is available on Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 5PM or Sunday evenings from 6PM.

We can accommodate semi-private functions for up to 80 guests. These bookings have a dedicated area, either indoors or outdoors based on preference/availability, but the rest of the venue will be shared with other patrons.

For more information or to book your next function, please email: events@boatrocker.com.au

Standard bookings of up to 19 people do not require any prepayment, just credit card details to secure bookings for 10-19 guests.

For large bookings and semi-private functions with 20+ guests, we do request a pre-paid minimum spend of $20pp based on your expected numbers.

This payment acts as a deposit to secure your booking and can be used toward a bar tab for your event or to pre-purchase a set number of drink tickets for your guests.

We do not require a venue hire fee for semi-private functions.

Fully private functions outside of opening hours will incur venue & staffing fees, as well as an increased minimum bar spend -quotes are provided on request and are based on the size and needs of your event.

For more information, please email events@boatrocker.com.au.

For bookings of 10-20 people, we ask that cancellations or any significant changes to your guest numbers be made no less than 72 hours prior.

Late cancellations or 'no-shows' will be subject to a fee of $10 per person and charged to the credit card provided for the booking.

For bookings of 20+ which required a prepaid minimum spend we kindly ask for minimum 10 days notice for cancellation or significant changes to guest numbers to receive a full refund or a ’spend-per-head’ refund.

For later changes in guest numbers, partial ’spend-per-head’ refunds are available until 5 days prior to the date of your event.

We do not currently offer brewery tours, but beer tasting paddles served by knowledgeable and enthusiastic staff are always available!

You can also book in to one of our Boatrocker Gin School Masterclasses, which includes a fully guided gin tasting and mini distillery tour experience. These sessions are available in two time slots (nearly) every Sunday.

We are also a regular stop along the Bayside Beer Belt tour route. An awesome local tour company showcasing the best of beer and spirits in Melbourne's Southeast. Upcoming tours and tickets can be found on their website.
