Boatrocker has approached spiced rum with fresh eyes and a new world palate to craft a spiced rum with a distinctly unique flavour profile. With over three years in oak, one in French and two in ex-bourbon barrels, this Australian rum was macerated after its maturation with a variety of botanicals and flavours we were inspired by such as mountain pepperberry, Peruvian coffee beans, smoked applewood & South American tonka beans to produce a unique and cinnamon-free updated take on the classic spiced rum.
Strong aromas of floral pepperberry, citrus and marzipan give way to a pleasant mid palate of cherry, marzipan, coffee and sweet vanilla custard ending in a long oaky vanilla finish with just a touch of smoke.
Designed to be mixed with light tonic or soda, substituted for whisky served in the old fashioned way or enjoyed neat.
